Pumpkin season is upon us!!  JOY! Yes, its DELICIOUS.  It tastes like Fall- it evokes feelings of warmth, family, love, crisp air, changing leaves…BUT it also offers delightful health benefits.

Here are just a few:  It helps your eye sight- with over 200% of your daily recommended vitamin A.  It keeps you full with over 3 grams of fiber per serving.  It is an excellent source of beta-carotene which aides in cancer prevention AND wrinkle prevention.  Pumpkin contains MORE potassium than a banana, loads of vitamin C, and at only 49 calories per serving…it is a light, healthy treat.
